But it succeeded!
And this initiative was key for building the middle class and our modern economy. Henry Ford understood that all the parts need to work together in a community.
Business creates jobs—pays workers, who then spend their earnings with the local businesses, who then pay their workers, and so the cycle goes around and the community thrives.
